What we collect, why, and what we will never do with it. Written to be read, not scrolled past.

SaaS Channel Edge ("we") is the data controller for this website. We collect the minimum personal data needed to respond to you and to send you things you explicitly asked for. Questions or requests: info@saaschanneledge.com.

What we collect, and why

  • Contact form - your name, email and message, used solely to respond to your enquiry. Legal basis: your consent, given by the checkbox on the form.
  • Newsletter - your email address, used to send the newsletter. Legal basis: consent. Every issue includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Readiness Assessment (when live) - your answers and contact details, used to produce your results and follow up. Anonymised, aggregated assessment data may feed our published benchmark (the Index); nothing identifiable is ever published.

Where it goes

Form submissions are delivered to our email and may be stored in our CRM (HubSpot) so we can manage the conversation. Our infrastructure runs on Amazon Web Services. We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone else, and no vendor pays us - that's the point.

How long we keep it

Enquiries: as long as the conversation is live, then up to 24 months. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your data at any time and we will.

Your rights

Under UK/EU GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we'll act on it promptly. You also have the right to complain to your supervisory authority (in the UK, the ICO).

Cookies & analytics

This site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, but only if you accept it. On your first visit a banner asks for your choice: nothing analytics-related loads, and no cookies are set, until you click Accept. If you decline, or ignore the banner, Google Analytics never runs. Your choice is remembered in your browser and you can change it by clearing your site data.

When enabled, Google Analytics (provided by Google) sets its own cookies to measure visits and traffic sources, with IP anonymisation on. It never receives your name, email or form contents. To withdraw consent, clear this site's data in your browser; to opt out everywhere, see Google's opt-out browser add-on.
